What is Viking Village Family Camp?

Viking VIllage is a unique and rustic retreat nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. It offers families an opportunity to immerse themselves in the outdoors while enjoying traditional summer camp activities!

What amenities are available in the cabins?

We offer a traditionally rustic camp experience. Our cabins all have plumbing with showers, toilets, and kitchenettes. There is a coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and stove top in each cabin. Every cabin also has a woodstove for heating needs. Guests are expected to bring their own linens and food.

Are pets allowed at Viking Village?

Although we love our four legged friends, we are unable to accommodate pets at Viking Village. This is due to a variety of reasons including comfort and safety of our guests, allergies, and insurance and liability.

What is your policy on booze?

We do not sell or provide any alcoholic beverages on site. That being said, you are more than welcome to bring your own! We simply ask that you avoid having glass containers by the waterfront. Thank you!

Do you offer childcare?

We LOVE having kids enjoy our programming activities! Your kid is more than welcome to attend an activity without a guardian, but you must also be on site in case of any emergencies or general needs. We do not assume legal responsibility for childcare.

Do you have firepits?

Yes! There are numerous firepits around camp. Each cabin comes equipped with a stack of wood at the beginning of the week. If additional wood is required, there is extra available for an additional fee.

I have a current reservation - can I change my dates?

While we cannot guarantee availability for a change in dates, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please send us an email with your hopeful dates and we will get back to you as soon as we are able!

What time is check in?

Check in begins at 4pm and check out is at 10am. This is because it gives us ample time to make sure every cabin and all areas of camp are clean and up to our standards for a fresh new week! Thank you for your understanding.

Have any concerns about the future?

Give us a call with any questions or thoughts - we are more than happy to chat and get to know everyone! We have talked with current campers in order to inform our updates and projects.
